Here is the link for my new "podcast" radio-type show.

For those of you who haven't heard, podcasting is the new big thing and I am, of course, on the cutting edge.

I will try to do as many as I can, with every day being a goal.

Here is the web address where you can hear it:
http://brianmanzellashow.podblaze.com/

Here is the RSS feed (for those who know what to do with it):
http://brianmanzellashow.podblaze.com/skin_brianmanzellashow.xml

and for those who don't, the "Manzella Show" should be up on Apple's iTunes store very soon.;)

Banjos and clarinets? I thought I tuned into 'Monk.'

Interesting stuff. Good job, BM.

That's the Brian Manzella Show, right?

I actually 'composed' a theme song that is much more 'me,' but it is on my Louisville computer so the first few show will have the Dixieland band sounds that are on my videos.

Thanks, birdieman and I hope you all enjoy it.

(excepting any and all show topic suggestions).

The song is perfect. I enjoyed your opinions on the majors. The US Open was a yawn. I could only imagine with Payne Stewart would have 'said' to Tom Meeks.

Brian, with all the wonderful young LPGA ladies on the horizon and winning. What the yeck happen to that stable of 'young guns.' Beside Adam Scott, what happen?

Hi Brian. The show was good. My wife and I both listened to it tonight. I totally agree with your opinions on the tricked up courses their playing the [American] majors on these days. I found myself getting irritated during the U.S. Open when players would hit good shots and be punished for it. As far as suggestions for future topics, I'd like to hear your take on Hogan's swing and what he had to say about the golf swing. How much influence do you think he had on the modern golf swing, etc.?

Michelle Wie. Swing, handlers, career direction. Pro or college. Amateur events or LPGA, even PGA events.

I have another suggestion for a topic. I have often thought that some of what modern golf instructors are teaching comes from, either directly or indirectly, The Golfing Machine. However, their information is incomplete. Do you think there is any truth to the idea that Homer Kelley had a lot to do with modern golf instruction? It seems like all of the, so called, "top instructors" have, at some point, learned "a little" about TGM. Also, why do you think that TGM isn't so mainstream, and do you think there will ever come a time when it is?

The Show is now available on iTunes!

Just download the latest (4.9) free iTunes software from apple.com (Windows or Mac) and go to podcast and search for golf...

And there I sit.

It is interesting you say that Tiger has problems that he tries to hit and add right arm thrust to what is fundamentally a swinging procedure, and yet you said before it is possible to do a 4 barrel swing.....

Have you changed your stance on this subject ?

PS - agree totally on the way they are setting up courses....

Really good stuff Brian.

You do a very very good job to make it interesting I must say....makes sense too. It's good to hear someone with a real opinion...and who isn't afraid to share it...and it still makes sense.

You never hear anyone else talk about this kind of stuff...not at all. I really think you do shine with this kind of thing.

This stuff is what makes your site the best I think.

BTW I'd like to hear more about Tiger/Earl and his early years.

You never get insider info. on this kind of stuff and I think it could be some pretty important mental game stuff...or at least really interesting.

Looks like Zinger heard your first one. Commented today something like "if Tiger had just averaged 34 putts per day at the U.S. Open, he would have won by 8 shots" ;)

Heck, Tiger might have listened.... looked to me that his putting was with very 'stable' hands today.

Did you guys see today when Paul Azinger said that "You don't hit up on the driver!"

He looked at some footage of his own swing and said "Well...that must be a bad camera angle. You just don't hit up on a driver."

Either he hits up (prolly shouldn't) and the camera angle was wrong...or he can't handle the truth! (like Jack Nicholson says!). I wonder...

BTW how do you use iTunes? I downloaded the software...now what..

Oops...nm...firewall blocked it out in the background on my sister's Windows logon.

Now I'm cookin' with oil.

You have to install it.

;)

Then...go to the music store (a tab on the left) then go to podcast (again on the left) and then search Golf or Manzella or Sports and there I am.

You can then 'subscribe' to it and it will download all the shows into you podcast library (or you just click update in the upper right) and you'll get every one.
