So how is this coupling point release different from other releases in golf?

I don't see what's revolutionary about this release or how others have taught an improper release for so long?

I'm sure it's there and maybe 1.68 will shed some light, but right now I don't see the revolution like I did when BMan communicated the D plane to the masses (which he did!!!!).

Here is what is different:

There is precise sequence, direction, and magnitude of forces than pretty much nobody has ever talked about or explained correctly.

Other than that, it is just basic stuff.....;)

why have they not, given your 30 years in the business?

Lack of understanding? Irreverence to the truth? Not sufficient mechanical models?

Speaking of lack of understanding and irreverence to the truth , what is B.M. teaching again? did you say a bent left wrist at impact and the follow thru, like he's teaching a flip before impact, really? Pretty sure Brian made it clear that they are not teaching a flip, tell your buddy that.

It seems that some people have a hard time understanding that the wrist action that Brian shows in isolation in his video explanations looks different when its blended in during a full swing. Also when people make swings and take divots it slows the clubhead down a lot, so just because someone has a flat wrist after hitting an iron it doesnt mean they werent flicking the club into the ball. Kevin said it best when he said you cant look at a video and see what the golfer is trying to do. JMO.

John Peterson has a great swing. That kid can play. I bet he will be around for quite a while also.

Good vids Brian.

I am blind but I don't like the swing in the top video, and Tom Lewis looks radically better today then whenever that top video was shot. I don't think that top video of Tom Lewis is representative of his current swing at all.

Loved the video of the elder. I used to play a lot with guys in thier 70's and 80's. Always secretly laugh at their "flippy", "handsy" swings. Yes, they occasionally outhit me but that was because I was not pivoting hard, lagging, driving the shoulders. Of course!
