The Downswing

I have both NHA and SOFT DRAW and was really watching the downswings. NHA has a straight line delivery path with its drop and carry pivot. very simple.

In SOFT DRAW there is a shift to the elbow plane. I have watched the chapter with the toss a lot but really don't understand what makes the club drop down to the elbow plane. Is it a move with the arms, more tilt, less carry etc.

We talk a lot about the d-plane and what needs to be done to work this but when it comes to the plane shift what needs to be done to make it work like in soft draw?

Thanks guys

Plane Angle Variation for The Soft Draw Pattern

A shift down to the elbow plane is not necessary in The Soft Draw Pattern.

But, to do it, you have to get your body and arm and elbow into the "Underhanded Javelin Throw" position.

Or just ALLOW the arms to drop some.

Thanks for the info i'll keep working on it. Hope everything is going well for you Brian. Ann Arbor Dave won't be able to see you this year in ann arbor.:(

Thanks Again See you around.
