The Brian Manzella Golf Academy just completed a first class corporate outing at the Kingsmill Resort, in Williamsburg, Virginia.

We shared the stage and the teaching with Dave Pelz and his Pelz Golf Academy. Pelz Golf handled the short game, and The Manzella Academy taught the full-swing.

The outing was first-class in every way, and so was the instruction.

We arrived on Sunday, and myself and my friend and Senior Instructor Chris Hamburger, worked through today (Tuesday). Therefore I have been completely "out of pocket" on the forum the last three days.

I'll be posting again tomorrow.

:)

I know how excited you were for this. How did it go?

It went great.

The MANZELLA MATRIX was introduced to the 4 groups of twelve golfers. Our teaching philosophy, our live teaching ability, and our "down-to-earth" style, absolutely makes the Manzella Academy the ideal corporate teaching group.

Imagine the "method" teachers, the "line drawers," the "training aid weilders" — they would have NO CHANCE in this environment. We had each group for 35 minutes each. I presented our teaching philosophy, had three of our group demostrate the three imperatives and the MATRIX live, and then we worked with all the golfers, making serious upgrades in many of them, and improving the understanding of almost all.

You HAD TO be able to teach LIVE, and how not to over-teach, over explain, or present too many new terms.

You should have seen the "Never Slice Again," "Do It Right," and "Never Hook Again" patterns, all done in tandem by Damon Lucas, Michael Finney and Michael Jacobs. Really eye opening!

Of course, this is relatively easy for us. We enjoyed it, and from all accounts, the great group of students did too.

I truly am blessed to have such a great "ALL STAR" team.

How was Pelz?
He and his staff were very nice, and I felt we collaborated quite well.

NIce white shoes guys.

BTW, Damon Lucas is a pretty good size ol boy. I bet he hits it a mile.

Well....

We just FIX 'em.

And by that, I mean, no matter what. No matter how many teachers they've had over the years or that day.

We never touch good swings.

How do you teach long game to students after they worked on the short game with a different teaching method?

We are used to doing it everyday on the live lesson tee

Overall an awesome 2 days, Kingsmill was beautiful, the Pelz golf academy was a class act all the way --- and the food was delicious!!!
