The release bad for equipment?

This is the 5th ball that's split right down the middle while practicing at our indoor facility. They've all been good conditioned Callaway Tour ix balls (the black is rub-off from the netting). What else is strange is that it's only been a problem since the Atlanta tour stop.:D

Can anyone recommend some drag and hold drills to help save on practice equipment.
 
From the looks of it Callaway has some quality control issues with their balls...I know you are making this post tongue in cheek, but seriously a premium ball should not split that way.

My thoughts exactly. This only happens with these particular balls, and only indoors. It's also hard to tell from the pic, but the core in this ball isn't even close to being in the center. I should have never quit playing the Condor balls.
