BETA DVD PROGRAM
For as long as I have been teaching golf, one of my main goals was to find answers to common golfing problems. When I did, I focused on systematizing the information in a way that made it easy for me to convey in a lesson, and easy for me to teach other instructors to do the same.
For the millions of golfers who have these problems, Instructional Videos are the easiest way to get access to these answers.
The first three videos were to be “Never Slice Again,” “Do It Right,” & “Beginner Class.” (now called BUILDING BLOCKS)
Wanting the Videos to be as good as they could possibly be, I got the idea of filming a “Beta” (pre-release) version of “Never Slice Again” & “Do It Right,” before I would proceed to professionally filming the commercial version.
The idea came from software companies who pre-release “Beta” versions of their software to a select group of customers who then report back to the company with any “bugs” or suggestions for a better product.
This is what I did early in 2004.
The response has been overwhelming, and the suggestions wonderfully thought-out. The final versions of “Never Slice Again,” “Do It Right,” & “Beginner Class,” were professionally filmed by the expert staff of YES Productions, the production arm of WYES-TV in New Orleans, in March of 2005.
Then came the double wammy.
I torn my Achilles tendon in early June, pushing back some 'pick-up shots' and then came our little friend Katrina, which destroyed my home and WYES...and the videos.
Well, FINALLY, we have a shoot date and and edit date and they are February 13th and 14th (Shooting) and 15th and 16th (Editing). Hooray....and wish me luck!
The BETA program works like this:
For $90 the “Tester” will receive the DVD Beta’s of “Never Slice Again," “Do It Right” & "Building Blocks"
The “Tester” is requested to review the Beta’s and send us their suggestions either on the forum or by email.
As soon as the commercial DVD’s of “Never Slice Again” & “Building Blocks”
are available, the tester will receive them by mail at no extra charge.
The people who are already in this program, get the web version of Building Blocks for no extra charge, now. And—of course—the DVD when it is out.
