Just wondering, if I am having a thicker sole on my golf shoes... say additional 1cm... in golf 1 cm is a lot. For Alignment issue, what should I do for Chip shot and Tee shot?
Bending my knee v.s changing the incline plane angle

Easier to change waist bend. If ball was on a 2 foot tee you would stand up straighter and if you lowered it you would bend from the waist. As your clubs get shorter you bend more from the waist so why would you do otherwise for new shoes.

Better to add a little more knee flex.
