So I stop in the local Barnes & Noble a few days ago at lunch.

Naturally stop by the golf section just to browse.

There's what, about 100 golf books. You guys have seen them all, I'm sure.

So with all the big, expensive coffee table books, the tired old, the only lesson you'll ever need books (tiger evidently hasn't read it yet), the funny stories books.......there's one and only one little paper back book, that's got the plastic shrink wrap on it so you can't thumb throught before you buy it.

Yes, Theo's Physics of Golf.

Must be so much buzz about D-plane that the publishers know that guys just want to take it over to the coffee area and read the D-plane chapter........

Too bad nobody explained him that a face on view against a black background (the sweater) makes the visual portion of the explanation hopeless from face on.

Mike,

That guy is not new to the D Plane. He's been training British Pro's about it for quite a while. He's actually the Technical Lead for Coach Education at PGA in Britain.

Not gonna get into the "who was there first" debate - just saw this on youtube and thought i would post it up.

I read through his powerpoint presentation on ball flight - it was good

he seems like a nice guy and he's just trying to spread the good news

His starting everthing from vertical and explaining from that base provided a sea change in my understanding. Thanks Mike!!!!!!!

Sorry, didn't mean to start a "who was there first debate".

I just wanted to let everyone know that this was not just some guy that is catching on.

Great Information

The chap in question is doing a great job educating the golf pros who are members of the British PGA, couldnt care less about the colour of his sweater!! some good good stuff in there, all teaching pros(both sides of the pond) should be made to study a few times. well done DC.
