Thoughts on swing.

Must be nice to be that flexible, left foot stays planted and the knee barely breaks in and still gets the hands nice and high.

My only thoughts are...what is with the camera angle? I only go for this angle of the golf swing with a select few ladies....Is this where your instructor stands during a lesson?

You can see some stuff on video, however, if you really want someone to help you in today's age of information, the only way anyone can really do that is to put up something tangible. The first thing we absolutely need to know is; what is the ball doing?

1. Trackman/ Flightscope numbers
2. K-Vest or some other 3-D technology data

Anything advice given without that data, on a swing forum is a lot of guessing. However, working with someone live is a different matter all together and a talented teacher can make you better without that technology, it will just take longer.

Only piece missing in my studio is the swing catalyst motion plate. Here is a link to some of the 3d graphs

Ryan-

Thanks for posting the 3D stats! Cool discussion..

Things I see (which Im sure you have as well)

1. Kinematic Sequence is off.. Poor timing/ decelerating of the thorax. I would investigate this players F.BEND (lack of) and over-rotation at top of backswing. My guess is having so much back extension at the top is causing him to add to much/ too late , which is causing some problems with his thorax/ club sequence..

2. Pelvic Bend: adding way too much pelvic bend in transition and is unable to lose enough into impact. (I imagine this is why you used this camera angle; to showcase his right hip launch in the early phases of the downswing)

3. Id like to see his PELVIC ANGLES graph.. How are his pelvic side bend numbers at impact?

4. Hows the AoA with Driver??
