Tiger issues warning to the rest of the tour....

Some truth in it no doubt but I have to wonder how much pain and for how many years. Seriously.

If he needed surgery it was getting bad but no doubt a lot of guys on tour have a nagging injury of some kind. Repetitive stress. It is pro golf.

No corn in my poop.

So how much pain and how many years you reckon?

I don't know. But I assume he plays it up some.

There is pain.......as in aches and pains.

And then there is real PAIN where one cannot take 120-130ish MPH driver swing and tolerate it normally........as he has done in the past few years more than many times.

In other words his left side has looked plenty solid to me. (more than a few times in the past few years)

I could be wrong.

But if you are really really hurting there is a point for everyone where it simply ain't happening. You try to swing and you feel the twinge and your body goes "nope." I don't believe Tiger has some kind of ability to block that response. I don't believe his pain tolerance to be 'superhuman.'

I am no expert just a critic.

But I also believe he is well aware of how these statments that he makes get used when the media gets ahold of them.

The media.......or the chickens, which eat the corn, and presumably poop it out later.

(s-m :))

Tiger Translator....free of charge.

Here is how it works:

You post a quote:

"I played for years with a lot of pain"

and I translate:

"I can beat you hurt, really hurt, or one one leg. You might as well give me the 4 majors next year 'cuz I'll be in no pain.....................until I hit one of those 'right shots'.:D"

Brian,
here is a hypothetical for you.

On his layoff, Tiger stumbles across this forum. Intrigued, he searches the forum to see what this Manzella guy thinks is wrong with his swing. He proceeds to buy several of your videos(under an alias of course). Then you get a phone call from the man himself, asking if you will be his new swing coach. The money is 7 figures, but the time commitment means that for at least a year you won't be able to contribute much to this site or give lessons to regular people. And of course, anything you do with Tiger would have to be kept private(his yacht is named Privacy after all).

So would you accept his deal and perhaps make Tiger even better than he ever imagined? Or would you reject it in favor of the members of the website and the common folk on the driving range?

Oh...just in case....

Hey Tiger,

I want you to strengthen your grip (both a hands) a tiny bit.

Get the Soft Draw pattern, and copy the backswing JUST ENOUGH to not be laid off at all.

Don't TRY to flatten the club from the top.

You'll hit it SO MUCH BETTER it will be joke.

See you in Florida.;)

We'll adjust then.
