Looks like Tiger is getting things back 'on track' compared to earlier this season.

What do you think of his current motion?

What's the difference? He still can't hit a faiway. He hits the ball so far he can hit punch shots up near the green and get up and down.
No difference than earlier in the year. It all comes down to his putting. He will always be near the lead with deep rough. He's the only one that can get it out of it.
Not sure hank Haney is the right guy for Tiger either. He seems to be opening it up more at top. But, he still tries the low punch almost exclusively. He was so much better when he just went at his irons. He seems to want to create shots to much then just getting it from point A to B.

If he would just hit a 3 wood off every tee he would prolly win a lot more, but I don't think his ego will let him do that.

Tiger Woods recorded the lowest driving accuracy percentage of his career this week at East Lake GC hitting 20 of 56 fairways (35.7%). His previous low came during the 2004 EDS Byron Nelson Championship where his total was 41.1%.

On and around the Greens he is absolutely AWESOME. Best putter I've ever seen play the game. He is also like Seve.. great out of trouble. This sums it all up really.
He's never been great off the Tee in my opinion, but probably less straight now than he used to be. His problem could be his ego... he swings his Driver SOOOO hard, and he cannot seem to eliminate this. I agree you have to 'go for it' but surely he goes too hard?
If Homer Kelly and all those other great TGM guys Brian admires swung the Driver as hard as Woods, they'd be all over the shop, right?

My vote is for a 2 Iron.:D

I think the swing is alot more down and a lot less around! Closer to Ferris wheel, than merry - go round.
I think they both have their merits.Hogan was a merry go round.Byron Nelson was a ferris wheel.
