New
I'm relatively new to all this stuff about different "patterns" and "methods" and "schools" of teaching. In fact I'm relatively new to golf in general. But over the years I have heard about Tiger overhauling his swing on occasion, and now I often hear about Tiger struggling with his swing under Hank Haney. The consensus here seems to be that Tiger's old swing (circa late 90's) was much more natural, dynamic, powerful, etc. than it is today... that he has basically suppressed all of that by trying to fit Haney's mold...
That said, I've watched all kinds of video of Tiger on Youtube and I just don't see it. The best I've found so far is this video which attempts to show the difference between 2001 Tiger and 2007 Tiger:

But the differences mentioned by the commentator seem almost imperceptible to me... like they could be explained simply by a different placement of the ball in the stance, or slightly different camera angle, or even just "seeing what you want to see" (and drawing lines on the screen to that effect).
So can someone do a better job of showing me what has changed? If the contrast between 1997 Tiger and 2009 Tiger is so obvious, as everyone makes it sound, I feel like this shouldn't be so difficult to see...
