Stop trying to look so damn pretty out there and just freakin' play.

Arnie brought the cool into the game and he did it by being himself, playing hard, and looking good as a product of all that.

Jesus you guys, this isn't modeling, it's sport, it's competition, it's about guts.

Trouble is that Arnie was on the leaderboard or winning...;)

Nothing would make me happier than to see Luke Donald prove me wrong tomorrow by winning the Honda Classic. In the lead going into the final round.

There have been some darned great players that insisted on being fashionable and well turned out on the course. eg... Walter Hagen, Bobby Jones, Ben Hogan, Tiger Woods comes to mind.

Poulter is a bit over the top, but I think that's just part of his personality.

tank--You're right! Woods, Jones, Hogan, and Hagen with their 46 combined majors won are really similar to the four some of Scott, Poulter, Garcia, and Donald! Please, the second group of four hardly qualify to be caddies for the first group of 4! Don't make me laugh.

I think you misinterpreted my point.
Your original post suggested that their focus on fashion, interferes with their focus on golf.
I'm simply stating that there is no correlation.

Not looking to argue, just my opinion.

hmmmmm............

Donald..... his game seems to be truly a reflection of himself, smoothest rhythm on tour. I think he may have a break out year in 08 ... would also love to see him win this week.

Poulter........... Footjoy loves to have him on the payroll.... other than that... he's just another tour player. (Talks a good game though) ;)

Garcia..... omg... putting with a "Superstroke" grip this week - at least Taylormade tried to put their colors on it for marketing purposes. Great swing but looks absolutely "lost as an Easter-egg" on the greens. When did I start feeling like I can make more putts than him? Don't expect anyone to win less than this guy right now.

Scott.... best potential of the 4. Nice win overseas a few weeks ago. I still think he's far from blossomed yet.

Robbo

None of them can putt at the highest level. Thats their problem, not their pants(although some of the clothes sergio wears makes it seem like he wants people not to like him)

I lost respect for Sergio with the cup-spitting thing. That was so ridiculous. Same deal with his response afterwards.

His disappointment following The (British) Open didn't really bug me.

birdie-man--Sergio's the biggest baby on tour. Always has been.

Poulter's into his fashion line. Scott's into his galleries and looking good.

Donald, by my estimation, is the best player. Sure, Scott has a Player's under his belt--but he's regressed!

I think Donald's trajectory moving forward will be higher than Scott's. Like I said, Scott's regressed. The field's only getting better as well. Donald being part of that field.

As far as factors in favor of Donald only getting better: I think being married may have something to do with it. That and not being obsessed with what Tiger's doing.

Why do you keep switching around your Ochoa/Mexican themed picture?

Nothing better than a Corona and a Chipotle burrito after walking 18.

Miguel Angel is mahboi!
