Toddlers golf swing

I’ve been practicing my new swing in the house, (and pretty much anywhere I am:) and my 2 year old daughter has been copying me left handed as I am right handed (its pretty darn cute). I guess I am a little worried about what that might do to her in the future, I can’t name anything in particular just curious if I should encourage or just let her play and see how it comes naturally. All advice is appreciated.

Mirror-imaging, I believe they call it. My son, 2 1/2, does the same thing. I figure I'm just going to let him keep doing that way until he figures it out. Plus, I'm not sure if they are wholly set in their preference for left or right at this age.

The preference for right hand vs left hand shows up between ages 3-4. However, this is exactly why Phil Mickelson plays golf as a lefty, but is right-handed for everything else. If I were you I would enjoy every single minute of time with your daughter and not worry even 1 second! In about 10-12 years you will be lucky if she even speaks to you! I know---I raised one of these female types!! Just get ready for pure hell from about age 13 to 18. My best wishes!

Thanks for the advice Dr. Dave, I will enjoy every second. I've been told by my dad that boys break your stuff and girls break your heart. I guess I am going to find out we are having a boy in March.
