Sounds about right.

No.

To clarify on number three, what if the face had rotated closed before contacting the ball.

I own this shot or more correctly this shot owns me. I hit 5 or 6 shots a round that come off the toe, start right, and hook left. I also give up significant distance with this shot.

What causes it and how do I fix it?
