Toe shots

What I'm working on currently:

#1 Trying to not swing so right anymore
#2 Trying to lag the sweet spot with the ole wet finger
#3 Trying to hit down more and make a good divot

The problem I had on the range yesterday was toe shots. Nothing extreme but definitely not on the sweet spot. Surprisingly the shots still had decent trajectory and distance. Any ideas? Thakns

#1

You have been working on your path A LOT (i hope) since seeing me so first thing i would do (and i did mention in our time together) is that your lie angle might change once you fix the path a bit. So go get check for lies.

#2

If the lies are ok, you are probably swinging a bit too outside/in and might be too open at impact which happens sometimes when you take someone from so inside/out and introduct a bit more openness in the shoulders through the ball.

Thanks Jim, quick question. If I go do #1, but my problem is really #2, will the clubfitter change my lies even though that really isn't the problem? Hope that makes sense.
