My dad is 60 years old and has trouble walking. Tom Watson's swing looks amazingly similar to the way it did 30 years ago. Couple that with the way he handled losing the Open to Stewart Cink and you could make a solid argument that TW is one of the single best representatives of our sport in the history of the game.

The legend is still growing at 61 years old. He's certainly the most interesting character left from that generation. And after that near Open win he's got to be one of the biggest draws in the game again. I know he's on my short list of players I'd like to see live.

Tom Watson now says he didn't know how to swing a golf club until 1992. He says it happened at the Heritage Tournament in South Carolina on a Tuesday at 3:15 PM. He did do pretty well with that old swing though.
