Toms/NHA and Ideas release question

I was wondering if any of you guys might have some suggestions regarding the driver swing w/ a Toms/NHA pattern.

I have been incorporating the "ideas" release with the NHA pattern and absolutely killing my irons. Laser beams, with a small 5 yard cut, and NO MORE PULLS!!
So basically I'm trying to stick the club in the ground. then going normal, and swinging left of the wall, but "lining up the club" later than say what's prescribed in Brian's "Ideas" vid.

The driver has been another story:rolleyes: not sure if I should use more of the "out toss" move and line the club up earlier with the driver, and just use my NHA/Ideas "hybrid" swing with the other clubs, or keep working on making this hybrid swing work w/ the driver. Would love to be able to use the same action for all clubs.

If anyone has tried to incorporate these patterns and has any suggestions on how I can get my driver to work like a driver I'd appreciate it.

Brian, if you are in Louisville this summer let me know, my back is ready to rock:cool:

You HAVE TO get the arms OFF of the CHEST as soon as the club changes directions.

You CAN translate to the left while you start to do this, but with a driver NOT TOO MUCH.

Also, always try to "swing under the stick."

Thanks Brian...getting the arms off my body would free up the arm swing and add some club head speed I'm lacking
w/ the driver. I think I've been over doing the connection thing a little too much.

Brian I am glad to hear you say this because during a recent lesson I had a teacher told me I had my lead arm "glued" to my chest too long in transition and on the way down. I had always tried to get the lower body moving first in transition and my goal was to get more open body alignments at impact.
When I try to get the arms moving as fast as possible in transition the swing feels almost arms only and I cannot get the body open at impact. I have been working at this for weeks now without success so any suggestions would be welcome.
