Too much bent right wrist???

Hey guys, lately I'm playing the best golf of my life, actually shot 77,74,80 in my last three rounds, which is great for me. However, being a golfer it is the norm that it's still not good enough. Right now my miss is still left, not a pull, but a ball that starts right down the middle and then turns left. I believe I'm actually bending my right wrist so much that it slightly hoods and shuts down the face at impact. How should I correct this?? I've read that some people say you can't bend the right wrist enough, is it possible that I just need to set up with a slightly more open clubface, so that impact position is more square, I'm use to setting up with a square clubface. FYI, I'm a pure hitter, any help would be appreciated...Thanks

the more you arch the left, the more the right is bent.

Both of which contribute to an OPEN face, not a closed one. Closed faces occur from bent left wrists or breaking down left wrists.

Sounds to me like you aren't hitting the inside aft quadrant of the ball, enough. Try to swing more out to right field and make sure you slide those hips crossline and not parallel to your target line.

Jim, I think you set off a light for me, I've been sitting here gripping a club and I think I've been adding a little bit of roll, or maybe a horizontal hinge, in addition to the bent right wrist. If you don't add a little bit of roll, how do you keep the ball from going right??

There is a little roll to the angled hinge, however it produces a "no roll" feel.

Make sure you are "punching" the ground out to right field. Remember, CROSS-LINE HIP SLIDE!

When you don't get that crossline hip slide i find, i get a little pull and/or pull draw.
