Too much shoulder turn?

Brian, sorry about leaving the chat last night, computer went dead.

Question for anyone.

Is there a point in the backswing where more shoulder rotation can become detrimental to distance (for the Driver)?

I am 19 years old and I can have about 90 degrees of separation between my hip and shoulder angle. I can get my shoulder rotation to around 135 degrees from static. Other than the obvious advantage of consistency, is there a point where I should stop my shoulder turn? I see most tour players somewhere between 90 degrees and 135 degrees.

The ball doesn't know.

Your job as a golfer, is to make the club do what IT has to, to make the ball go where you need to.

The body's job, is to assist the arms and hands with making the club do what IT has to, and with generating some extra speed.

You answer is contained in the above. ;)

Thanks Brian,

I'll just let the body control itself without any manipulation by me. I think I am trying to add too much of the "extra speed".
