If you were to set up a "Butch Harmon Laser Plane Trainer" (other lasers are available ;) )
Would the laser pointing to the ground at set up best be pointing:-

At the ground opposite the hosel, the sweetspot or toe?

Sorry if again this ranks with "numpty" questions....

If the laser beam is coming directly from the shaft, like an extension of the shaft, and your using a club with a clubhead, then the beam would show you the plane of the hosel.

So if I would rotate the laser so it hits the ground opposite the sweetspot, would that still be better?

I have searched on this but can't find anything difinitive on the forum of how to set one up, or use correctly.

Anyone able to chip in with the best way to use one....

An Idiots guide to laser plane trainers ( or how to ignore the video it came with)

I hear different patterns would involve different tracing routes up and down, but hip high to swivel should be on plane (for a straight shot)?
