We had a thread that was taking about the features and data of the two leading Launch Monitors.
I have spent a lot of time on TrackMan, and if I had the money right now, I'd buy one. Using someone else's will have to do for now.
Flight Scope is a good product as well, and one of their sales people is a member, so is Justin from TrackMan.
If we can, one day this spring, we will do a side-by-side test.
Taking to PING about TrackMan accuracy at the "Show," they are very happy with the current version and software.
Remember folks, Ping uses TrackMan to measure the club FACE, PATH, PLANE LINE, as well as BALL with their high-end robot, PING MAN 5.
Ping also owns camera that take 180,000 pictures a second. They can easily, a do easily, use those cameras to check everything TrackMan is telling them.
Mike and I are planning a trip to PING in the next two months and we will report on all of it, as usual.
For now, having a discussion on whether Flight Scope is as good as Trackman, or the other way around, as well as price and other variables, is not something I want on this site.
Because it is all guessing right now.
We will do the side by side test, and the Ping trip and then we will talk about HARD DATA.
Thanks.
