turning the screwdriver

I like the simplicity of the twistaway move but I hook too often. Tell me how far off I am. If I were to take a screwdriver in my hands that was seven iron length, then in your backswing as you are heading to the top, are you turning the screwdriver counter clockwise? I think my problem is I turn it even more on the downswing. I think I need to NOT turn it on my backswing, and just screw it on the way down, because I am on plane and have this feel down already. What you think dawg?

It's a great image/feel for many as they get started.... forearm rotation, especially on the downswing, is what is missing for most slicers (too much rotation back, not enough through) - getting to that arched wrist position via rotation, and a punch of the right fist - Hogan, page 102

A neutral grip is the first bit to check, don't be afraid to get that lead hand to match the clubface. A very small amount of 'counter clockwise' is a good thing, but if you over do it, you will find yourself pulling the ball, which you can work on by paying attention to the 'back' of your lead shoulder - hit the inside back corner of the ball with the back of your lead shoulder, and let your hands just go along for the ride - maintain their 'form' but don't 'do' anything with them

Use the base of your right hand to drag the back of your left hand along the inside back corner
