Hi Brian

I'm new here and am very impressed with the level of civilized discussion regarding the Golfing Machine. It’s great to finally get some excellent clarity on the Golfing Machine swing. I have tried many methods and read and practiced most books including Gerry Hogan and Hebron to varying degrees of success. My most recent discovery has been Don Trahan, the most simple of all methods and I do believe there are a lot of Golfing Machine components in his swing theory. Don’s method has really improved my game so much so that my golf club cut me 2 shots before the season has even begun. (Now 13.0 handicap)

I watched that black and white video you posted and found it fascinating. I never came across the concept of the wrist pointing at the target on follow-through. In fact yesterday during a competition I did a couple of practice swings with my left hand alone, allowing it to stay flat to the target right to the finish and then when I made my swing…. Wow! what a difference. I’m not saying I did it in my actual swing but by slightly drilling it before I swung I believe it improved my contact considerably. I was 6 over in a 12-hole competition (4 better then my new handicap) and that on a championship links course in Ireland.

One quick question: What exactly is a twist-away? It’s probably somewhere in the discussion group but I can’t locate it.

Best of luck with the DVD, I’ll certainly be interested in seeing it.
