"Twistaway"/"Shake the Sugar"

I find it hard to coordinate any "drop" move with a full roll downswing.

With a twistaway for sure........but I never do it with a full roll personally. If I'm full rolling I usually just pull (the club down with my pivot) from the top. I can (full roll WITH a drop) though. And I'm sure you can too. (this is just a personal thing of mine I'm putting in writing right now)

I've heard the "shake the sugar" saying, but I've known what it meant. Can you (anyone) explain it?

Thanks,
p

birdie man, how do you do this without pulling it? If I focus on full roll, I tend to come over the top and end up pull/pull-drawing it. If I focus on the drop, I tend to not roll at all and end up pushing or push-fading it.

pm, shake the sugar is from the top, pretending that you've got a lot of powdered sugar all over your arms. Then you want to shake that sugar off your arms at the ball. It's like a snapping motion, slow at the top and the snap at the bottom.
