UGH...yet another driver question....

Hooked the lasers up to the driver. For the life of me, I can't get the lasers to trace the plane line on the back swing unless I radically change my swing.

When I swing back like I do other clubs, the laser is coming from outside the plan line to under it.

I can accomplish tracing the plane line with the irons.

Am I "mentally challenged"???

For clarification, are you saying to make whatever backswing allows you to trace a straight line on the DOWNSWING, even if the backswing is offplane?

Cool, so...

I gather that the lasers can help me get the backswing as tight as possible to the plane line but...most important...get into a position where I can do it on the downswing....right?

Can someone explain this? It is okay with irons, but not the driver? Why? How should you take the driver back if not tracing the plane? Maybe this is why I am struggling so bad with my driver.
