I think I haven't uncocked my leading hand properly at impact! That's crazy, really. Not for over 14 years of playing. Roll, yes. I think I have been focusing too much on FLW and the right forearm on plane. Just a couple of days ago i began thinking of it when watching your "Shoot the marble" or "pinholes in thumbs...etc". Well it took me a couple of times watching before understanding - even if it's actually crystal clear.
Yes, I can now feel my swing is more dynamic and there's more power in it.
But.
But, but, but.
Now I'm sure the toe of the club is pointing much more down through impact. To much I'm afraid. Well it sounds obvious.
Now, my first thought was, aha, I need to change the lie of my clubs and I'll shoot golf like never before.
Or?
New thoughts tonight when walking the dog and bringing my "Walk the dog wedge".
Should I maybe stand a little bit farther away from the ball? And this automagically gives an uncocked, flat and in line leading arm and wrist/hand at address?
Ehrm, sorry for my bad English and perhaps sometimes weird terminology - but I hope you understand some of it.
Is it a common problem problem with the toe dipping down when someone at last learns how to uncock the leading hand?
Any thoughts about it?
Yes, that's right, I'm a leftie player. That's why I write leading and not left arm.
