underplane

I'm new to this site today and unsure of all the terminology used. Please advise on what I can do differently with my pivot to deliver the club on plan. I currently use a should turn and right hand pick up together. The shaft traces my right forearm but comes slightly inside shaft plane from address. It then comes down underplan to impact. I make solid contact but block right or hook. Do I need to feel like I'm coming from the outside or is there something I could do to correct the pivot or right hand pickup.

You could order "Never Hook Again" I think it's far easier to absorb material when watching the actual motions rather than trying to understand them through written word.

Learn to pivot. That forearm tracing and right forearm takeaway sounds great, but the hands controlled stuff is useless without an effective pivot.

The hands are not truly educated until the know where the pivot is supposed to take them.

The blokcs and hooks sounds like a pivot problem and over acceleration to me.

Based on your block or hook statement, you might also want to consider "Confessions of a Former Flipper" along with NHA
