The last lesson I gave last week was to a 25+ handicapper, 5'8" 38+ waist, who started the lesson more than 7° outside-in with a wildly open face and a backed up shaft.

The first lesson I gave today was to a very low handicapper, 6'4 <32 waist, who dragging the handle as much as he possibly could, mostly on plane and 2.5-3.5 outside-in with 50-60 foot max height on a 6-iron.

Does anyone think they got the same lesson from the guy who prides himself on being a multiple solution teacher?

Hell no.

The 25+capper got a classic Never Slice Again lesson. Flatter left wrist at the top, full twistaway coming down, turning the face off the plane, and holding it through impact and trying to add more after that.

The low handicapper got a right out of the box Ideas about The Release.

As good a job as I ever did in both.

BTW, I have TrackMan video and numbers from both lessons and will post them up in a day or two.

Multiple solutions. Expertly taught.

Good stuff here for sure. It would be great to see some details of the "before" and "after" of these two lessons since they are on opposite sides of the spectrum (outside in path, high handicapper issues vs better player with handle dragging).

When you gave me my lesson and got around behind me with your hands on my hips I didn't realize you were measuring my waist all this time I thought you were showing me how to move my hips.
