Anyone have any suggestions? I want to be able to do multiple file types......Quicktime, MPEG, etc. etc. all the common ones anyway.

I need something to edit videos....mostly to just edit length and combine separate videos into one.

New
Adobe Premier probably.

If you dropped the quicktime requirement, then I think there are more options.

What o/s do you use?

If that's all you need then just use Quicktime Pro and Windows Movie Maker.

Video Software...

Final Cut Pro, Quicktime Pro on my Macs, and Adobe Premiere Elements on my PC.

Also, I do a lot with SnapzPro (screenshots, video screenshots), Photoshop (graphic overlays, graphics, photos), and so many more you'd think I had a TV studio in my home.

A follow up, almost a year later......

So when filming a student during a lesson;

Which system do u use (mac/pc)?

What software, if any, do u use to eventually analyse the motion?

I am about to choose a new computer and do not know if go with Mac or Pc. I will have to use either "bootcamp" or "parallel" if I choose a Mac and want to use a softwareprogram like "Swingview Pro".

What is your experience and advice?

Thanks in advance.

I've been a mac user for a year now and still don't know of any specific movement analysis software, on the plus side with the Leopard OS you can install windows easily.
