I tried the V1, but it doesn't read quick time files. Or so I thought. I suppose there must be some program that converts formats? Any tips?

Quick Time Pro

You can buy the QuickTime Pro upgrade for $30 and export mov files to any format you need for V1.

Hi,

If you want to use V1 then download "quicktime alternative" (google search), this contains QT direct show filters which will enable V1 to play mov files without a problem.

I downloaded Quicktime alternative, but V1 doesn't have an option to open a .mov file. I tried going to the .mov file and choose "open with" and select V1, but still no go. Any suggestions ?

I too installed qt alternative but still can't get V1 to run the .mov files. I converted some files to .avi. The V1 will play them, but if I freeze the frame or run it in slow motion, the screen goes black.

Weird,

I just opened the mov files directly from V1. If you go to file/open, it should say "all video files" and include mov in that list.
