Visually straight path really a bad thing?

The clubhead blur basically looks like a straight line down the target line when I swing. I find this straight blur to be a good guide for hitting is straight. But we know TGM talks a lot about down and OUT until low point, etc. So is a visually straight path (or maybe slightly outside in) actually really that BAD advice as some say it is?

Edit: Just in case someone tries to steer this discussion towards the fact that I'm Hitting or anything like that, I'm NOT...so let's not go there!

My clubhead blur is more curved if I swing on the elbow plane vs trying to swing down the TSP... just a matter of perspective.

It should be adjusted PER the golfer. Some are going to have to imagine it REALLY REALLY right even though it will only get them to swing "on plane" because they have been a slicer swinging too far left.
