With everything you can do with your wedges these days, when do you think the technology craze will turn over into the short game. I know it exists a little right now, but it seems like it could be a good market to get into. What do you all think?
Every freakin' time I turn on the golf channel (I am going to Golf Hell, I know) I see ads for the F2 wedge, the heavy putter, etc. The short game stuff is there...maybe there's more money in selling $500 drivers though.
1) CNC milling for a completely flat face surface and evenly spaced grooves for the most consistency
2) custom sole grinds that grinders have been doing for years however they are making the grinds off the retail rack.
Pertaining to 2) you've got:
- Solus grind
- Callaway X-Tour "p grind" which is nothing new
- C grind by TM
