I am a 6hdcp, with a strong build and tend to hit at the ball with upper body-
So my usual miss is a weak pull (all upper body/over the top). I can never seem to get into a consistent impact position with a good weight transfer and a lot of left cheek showing from behind view-not much separation between shoulders and hips at impact. BUT, for the last couple rounds I have been taking a little step (like the Gary player drill) and striding into the ball at the transition as the club is still going back and up-and hitting the ball long and straight. SO why can't i do this move, or get the weight shifting this powerfully, when I try to swing traditionally? When I try I usually sway too far off the ball on the Backswing...
