What advantage..?

I am sure there is... but...

In NSA Brian uses twist away, as I do to great affect. Any ideas why having a less twisted away club is an advantage ie: most tour players.

Does it provide more club head speed..?

I deleted some posts because they were counter productive.

The man asked a simple question:

"The TwistAway" works great for me, Tour Players seem to use it less, why?"

Leo had a good answer, and here is another three:

"They do whatever twisting they need much closer to impact. #1, Because they can. #2, Because they do it (much later) and they don't even know they do it at all....and....#3, Because they can make a better swing without doing it a bunch early.

This is NOT Curl in Square to Square....Some Say CR was Derived from Your Heroes Dark Side.......:)

I know see why you are saying tour pros do it and some don’t even know it. I have some golfer’s start at 3 degrees closed at address and add 2 to 3 degrees counter rotation during the back swing. I think we are talking about the same thing. You see it to the swing plane up to 45 degrees and I see it to the sweet spot path up to 6 degrees. The overall club face look is similar.

Many thanks.

Tried less twistaway & got a real Whipppp - But will stay in comfort zone for a while.

By the way I think its good that Brian is taking charge of this forum. Its anoying to have silly comments - Good at a time & place but when looking for help it does not.

I am no ass kisser - Will argue with anyone even Brian when I am 100% alas golf I am not.
