I'm sure this thread has been started somewhere but here goes.

What does everyone do for a living? I am in a transitional period and looking at options/ideas. Just figured it'd be cool to see what all you golf minded folks are doing for a living.

GO!!!

High School Economics teacher, basketball and golf coach. Best job in the world. I get to play a lot of golf and teach a lot of people about the game.

I've thought about teaching at HS level or JC level and trying to get into coaching. I have a B.A. in economics. But Id need more schooling obviously.

High School Health/Physical Education/Credit Recovery/Blended Learning Teacher.
Thinking about coaching golf next year.

I teach technical subjects to secondary students in a school in Ireland. Ages range from 12 to 18 so I suppose that equates to High school
in the US?
By technical subjects I mean Technical Drawing, Design and Communication Graphics, Construction Studies and Technology.

I'm in the family business. I cannot elaborate further except to say that casual Friday may or may not mean a velour tracksuit. :)

I should probably add that I worked in outpatient physical therapy for six years. Ran the work conditioning programs as well as the aquatic therapy programall as a registered kinesiotherapist. Then I went back to school. Ten years of subbing later and here we are.

Worked 5 years as a Kinesiologist within a large outpatient physical therapy clinic, within the public health region system (Canada). Then worked as a marketing and clinical coordinator position for 3 years within the same clinic. Promoted to Manager of the clinic, where I worked for 5 years. Recently switched Management roles and am currently the Manager of Non-Invasive Cardiology for 3 hospitals. Been a interesting career path and I have learned a ton about relationship building and communication.
