Just curious what folks on the board play.
My current set is
2-PW, 52, 56, 60 Mac 1025M standard loft/lie with s300 shafts
(alternate carrying 2 iron and wedges depending on conditions, surprisingly forgiving blade, less workable than MP's or apex, but still workable) Had them spec'd to D4.
TM 300 with graph pro lite S
(still the best I've found to date, don't like the lame feedback/feel/sound and zero workability of the massive heads)
3 wood de jour is a mac, which honestly sucks, but a good 3 wood is hard to find (15 deg stock S shaft) - one of these days I'll seek out something better, no budget at the moment (buying a new house soon)
backup sets - TA3's with x100's, and a shockingly decent set of clone blades I picked up off ebay for $100 bucks new (v series)... not tour quality, but for $100, they are very playable, and quite smooth (light shafts though, give up about a club yardage to either the 1025's or ta3's, with very high flight)
putter is a c-groove sofia, 2 deg upright - damn fine putter, great roll, newest addition to my bag and I suspect this one will be around for some time
Usually hit apex tour's, nice all around decent ball, 'practice' version is only $20ish and the prov's aren't 'that' much better IMO. Play xl3000 'feel' ball or titelist hvc soft at times - surprisingly good in the wind, but still rocks around the greens - not bad for the price though
