What happened to Alvaro Quiros this year?

does anyone know what happened to Alvaro Quiros this year? Seems to be in a bit of a slump after a fastastic 2011 season.

I think Quiros had wrist surgery after damaging tendons and ligaments.Hope it's not career threatening.He seems like a really nice guy.Followed him once and he threw balls to kids even after bad holes.

He has a short backswing for a super long hitter and gets all his power from lots of lag and he has more trigger delay than even Sergio.I wonder if that contributed to the injury.

When you hit it like him you can't play through injury. He's an "all or nothing" player.
