I was standing in my bedroom last night working on a flat left wrist at impact by hitting the mattress. I noticed that certain body parts align at impact. In the correct golf swing what body parts should align at impact? Is this different for driver and irons?
Hey, you really need to get out more.
Hips, slightly open at impact with shoulders more square to the target line. Don't just hit the mattress, keep your left wrist flat and your right wrist bent as you shove it across the room!
Right shoulder moves down and out from the top of your back swing while the left shoulder moves in and up as you pass through the impact zone (no plug intended).
The rest, as they say, is just for show.
