When are the 3 Imperatives imperative?

The straight plane line is imperative from pre-shot to Finish. The Plane is the Boss and everything must comply with it.

The Clubhead Lag Pressure Point is imperative from Downstroke to Follow-through so that you can effectively monitor the Sweet-Spot and clubhead acceleration.

The Flat Left Wrist is only imperative during the Impact Interval, to provide rhythm, correct hinging and maximum radius.

Gee, that sounds like the Flying Wedges described, rwh. So my guess is throughout: from impact fix to hold.

I think theoretically they are only imperative during the impact interval. Because that is the only time the club and ball talk to each other. Personally, I think you are correct for left wrist and lag pressure. I have seen guys with arched left wrists and bent left wrists up to the moment of impact and then it flattens. I haven't seen anyone lose their lag pressure on the downstroke and then regain it. Although it can probably be done, I don't think it could be done repetitively unless you want to include putting or other short shots which I wasn't. Plane line I would say from downstroke to follow through. Myself, I can do figure eights on the backstroke and still have a straight plane line on the down stroke.
