Is it too steep if the shaft comes on a plane steeper than the turn shoulder plane (I realize ppl don't use this term here anymore)? I've always had a somewhat steep swing where the shaft would come down the turn shoulder plane.
Recently, I made a conscious effort to shorten my backswing. Now I noticed that I have a tendency to lift my club up with my right hand on my first downswing move resulting in the shaft coming in steeper than the turn shoulder plane. I'm not sure if this is simply an over the top move. I've tried coming in shallower but I seem to get stuck and can't release the club properly. I think I also subconsciously like this move as it gets my PP#3 lag pressure pointing the ball sooner.
