Correct to say that if Hogan had a straight right arm at impact he would have hooked it?

Also, is Tiger's very straight right arm and the gap between his hands and hips different to any other great player you've seen?

I'll take a stab- Tiger's current swing has his clubshaft more vertical at the same point in the swing than the pic above, whereas you prefer the more released layback shaft look above (and consequently the less extreme "pitch elbow" look compared to now).
