When you HAVE to hit it left to right?

Ok, for those that play a draw and have a hard time hitting a fade. What do you do to make sure that sucker doesn't go left. For example, a dogleg to the right. One of the holes on my course just opened up due to the flood and it's a dogleg to the right. For the life of me I can't hit a fade. What do you guys do when you ABSOLUTELY can't go left. Open your stance? Out to in swing? Ball more forward? Etc. Thanks

1. Set up on the far left side of the tee box
2. Aim at the far right side of where the hole starts to dogleg
3. Hit a draw that starts at the dogleg and works back to the middle of the fairway

As long as you hit it far enough, the bend in the hole won't affect your second shot.

Doing #1 right now. Number 2 is tricky however. All it takes is a little push and you're in the trees (tight fairway).

1. Set up on the right side of tee box
2. Line the ball up with leftside of fairway
3. Set up for that line, then open my stance just a shade
4. Raise my hands a little higher than a standard shot (helps me hold off release)

If distance isn't an issue for the course and my man pride doesn't kick in (because my playing partner is out driving me) I will play that 270 yd cutter all day, very easy to control.

My dad always hits a draw, and when he is forced to hit the fade, he opens his stance, and swings down that open stances line. thats all... hits some beautiful fades... my dad is actually a good worker of the ball, and used to be a really good player before his motorcycle accident...

Well, I played the hole twice today. Aimed left and made kind of a up the wall backswing. Result was 2 amazing drives. First was almost a straight shot with just a little bit of a fade, middle of the fairway. Second shot, I crushed it and cut the corner over the trees. Only had like 60 yards to the green. Only problem now is that I'm trying to alter my shots more on the course resulting in more inconsistency. Not good since I've got an important best shot tomorrow. Oh well, Manzella will get me on the right trail. Still trying to figure out when but it should be soon. I'll give a FULL report when done. Thanks for everyone's input.

Weakening your grip and opening the clubface are the same thing. You have to open your clubface and then regrip it. Opening the clubface without regripping accomplishes nothing.

I am talking AFTER all that is said and done. Otherwise the grip would be the same old same old , of course. Sorry for the confusion.
