Where can I find a set of irons with zero offset and basically zero bounce (maybe a little bounce with shorter irons)?

www.scratchgolf.com look at their products and specifically the irons. All of their stuff is forged in Japan and they totally customize everything.

They can build you anything, any custom grind, the only thing is the $$$$

$1800 for a set

Look at the past...

Have you hit any of the old Hogan irons? Early 60s?

The "plus one" in 1968 is when (i think...) he first added bounce to his irons... or his designer did...because I think that before then they had negative/zero bounce...

Check out his website:-

Bounce sole was so "innovative" ;) that he even put it on the back of the "plus one"...

No need to guess who was the crazy who voted 100% in your poll!!!:D

You will need bounce in the mid to short irons, otherwise you will seriously be digging the turf; you are probably looking for minimal bounce.

Good site here......www.houseofforged.com

Not up right now but they have all kinds of newish, refurb, and barely used classic irons. A lot of em with modern shafts in em. They of course are very compact.....and if I remember right the prices were very reasonable.

I'd love to get a set of old MacGregors...........some Muirfield Customs or something.

I hate offset as well.

Both the older Wilson Staff Pi5 and the newer Pi7 has very very little offset. I currently play the Pi5's and love them.

Tom Wishon's 550 and 555 models (both come in a blade and a very discreet cavity back) have extremely low to no offset. I'm currently playing a Wishon 3, 15 degree hybrid, and wedges and I find his custom components to be better than any OEM offering out there. It is really high quality stuff.

2005 TP rac forged have little to no offset. I currently play them. A lot of the heads look like butterknives at address. Great feeling.

I was disappointed in the Pi5s when I got a chance to play em. Everything was great except the size, topline, and to me, maybe a bit too much offset also. (they had a great shape to them though)

I'm picky.

BTW ya those no-label blades are pretty freakin sweet...........and you can do your hair on the course even eh mastery...?

...???

???

I have more sinister plans than making sure that I'm cute! I'm thinking... blinding your opponents with the reflection of the sun, so that they will miss shots.
