who cares if your grip is weak or strong

i think brians grip is a good starting point but to me the most important part of the backswing is getting the right amount of forearm rotation to ensure a flat left wrist at the top. i personally believe this is done best with the shaft over shaft drill ala faldo. get it flat at the top and then fire away, if your not squareing up the face from there then strengthen it, if a little closed weaken it. obviously a weak hogan type grip thumb directly down shaft requires the most rotation and a really strong azinger type requires no rotation or reverse rotation to get to flat. thats my thought go ahead and rip away
