Why Do Pulls FEEL so good

Hey folks, following on from my thread a few weeks back (yes I know I owe you a vid) my game has really improved to the point where if I hit a poor shot I am surprised rather than thinking ah well I am bound to hit some.
Now as a chronic In to Out player who has moved to more of an Up/Down motion I do get on occasion a pull shot, BUT it always feels such good contact I can't bring myself to get annoyed!

So what is it that makes a Pull feel so good, obviously it goes further but why does it feel like you hit it so well?

Cheers

Biomechanics? You are swinging your arms/hands the same direction your body is turning.

I think brian has said because you are snapping your chain better with arms going more across lead leg.

I always thought it was because you had he face more closed, balls goes further and you are hitting ball in different place on face of club.

I don't know.

So we're not really sure then:)

Seems a Pros have used the shot as their stock flight over the years, not sure I'd be that brave myself.

Any of our Pros give us more on why it feels such a sweet contact?

Cheers

My professional amateur opinion..
Because the force coming out of the higher right shoulder is lined up with the right arm and this matches up with the direction of the swing.

A pull feels like vomit to me personally.

Hmm so its a false 'good' feeling I have?
I suppose I'm just not a good enough player to feel the difference between a proper intended flight and a pull flight, all I know is the contact has the same crisp feeling

I'll shut up now...

I would agree that pulls feel bad, I was addressing why you might hit it further with a pull and thus think it is better.

I think the reason a pull would feel good would be maybe you fight open clubface problems and with a pull you're finally getting on top of the sweet spot.

Just a thought.

If it feels good...

your are hitting it better.
You just need to keep the quality and reorient the human.
Think about why it feels better.
Is it AoA? probably steeper.....maybe you are usually too shallow...

This is what I always assumed. I used to set up with a closed stance, and basically pull the ball at my target to fight the slice.
