Many years ago (i am guessing about 15 years at least) I was given a tip by a member of my local club. He told me to hit crisper chips address the ball with the club sitting on the ground about 6 inches behind the ball. That's it. For whatever reason I got away from it over the years but I tried it again last evening and I was hitting crisp chips and pitches on about 95% of my shots. Somehow this little tip is getting me to the ball more consistently...now if I could only get this to work on full swings!
