Or as Brias says yuge....

Would like to write loads, but simpler is easier.

Attack the inside of the ball ( for me ) is a VERY good thing, I have noticed when able to do this ( not forget to do this ) everything is right.

I even try to attack the 6'oclock position.

What I have noticed, is employing this I begin with a tilt. Attcking the back ( 3'oclock ) of the ball I begin with an over the top move.

This thought + Brians teaching allowed me to beat our best player from our 3 ball who has not been beaten for over a year !!!

I NEED a discussion / argument / fight / lesson / help/ on this subject !!!!!!

I hope you don't try to do this forever.

Agree.

Hitting inside quadrant is now a myth. The actual hit is not that much inside at all.

If you are "attempting" to hit that much inside,it is a compensation for other flaws, most likely trying to straighten a left pointing plane line.

Sooner or later you will start swinging too far right.

What you you are doing is a feel many good players have. The feel is an outside in path down swing with a big axis tilt. Sold Shots are the results.

I think you misunderstood him. He's divided the ball from his view of it at address, meaning 6 o'clock would be as much inside-aft quadrant as is possible. He feels like he's swinging VERY inside-out.

Am I right torvine?

I thought he was trying to hit the back of the ball at 3:00. I misunderstood the post.

Holeout yes thats what I mean 6'oclock is as if I were looking down on a clock face.

Is this stranger than fiction....?

Aiming to hit the 6'oclock does NOT create a severe in to out swing (FOR ME) it simply allows me to get my hands way in front of the ball before contact.

I will never, ever hit 6'oclock but the trying to do so, = axis tilt, hands in front, perfect position club face.

Way TOO many hours studying Flipper & NSA, just one more peek.......

For you the 6 o'clock drill may make you do the axis tilt and hands in front because otherwise you would hit it way behind the ball. For others they may get way too under and open face etc etc so the important thing is that you are doing something right via the result and no one can tell you different because we can't see the result. Suffice to say you are not actually coming close to 6 o'clock and you understand that.

I agree Bolt.

NO way near 6'oclock.

The result for me is outstanding, I suggest anyone to try at home, you dont need to hit a ball.

Take club back, shut down the face "twist away" Then slowly go for the 6'oclock there is NO repeat NO path too outside..

Isnt golf fantastic !

Today it gave me 170ish with 7 iron at the range so I will hope for 160 on the course. I'm sure there are better, but none straighter !
