Why was the Mitsubishi Golf Swing Analyzer inaccurate?

Haven't read this whole thread (will later cause it's late) but...

Remember you talked about that machine you used a long time ago to zero out everything and you ended up hitting hooks?

Any idea why? (in retrospect)

D-Plane something or other?

You used to think it was due to TGM impact/seperation.

If I had to guess: it was because the formulas programmed into the machine were based on the "Old" Ball Flight laws. The machines back then didn't have the ability to monitor the ball flying through the air and relate it back to the launch conditions.

The machine could probably monitor what the club did through impact, but then it had to guess what ball flight that would relate to. I hope I'm explaining myself somewhat clearly...

Hehe ok...and glad I got that right.

I was thinking...funny how it turned out that something like this served to support STLOC...

(to explain why zeros produced left shots)

The Mitzu was working againstu, Brian.
