Wrist cock and Setup

I noticed at the range when I have short Irons (9-SW) in my hand my left wrist remains un-cocked at setup and I hit the ball very well with these clubs now.

But the longer clubs it seems that my left wrist is a little cocked to compensate for the length of the club (I use mid body hands), and I hook the ball with the longer clubs and I think its because of this.

So today at the range I made sure with each club that the left wrist condition was the same for all clubs (un-cocked)and I was hitting the ball much straighter with all my clubs.

Just wanted to share this info in case anyone else is having the same issues as me. Also wanted some validation that my fix is correct.

GRS...

You are ZEROing out your #3 Accumulator angle, which—in english—makes clubface control MUCH easier.

You'll lose some distance though.

If it is working, keep at it!

Thanks for the Validation Brian, As I learn clubface control more and more maybe I can add back some Accumulator3, but until then I would rather be hitting from the short grass, will see how it turns out when I play this week.

Seemed to work good on the course for me today, even getting more distance on my irons, probably more to do with center face contact than anything else but so far so good.
